I suspect the argument will not be able self defense

But rather defense of others because the suspect was armed with a knife, ignoring commands to stop and headed into a store where he could injure others. But there are a lot of problems with that argument. Is there any evidence that anyone in the store was in any immediate danger? It’s not enough to say “could have”. It’s a knife and not a gun, so you have to get close to people to hurt them. The fact that the man with the knife is in a wheel chair is obviously important. People in the store could have been warned away. Maybe there’s more information out there? but based on what’s been shown to this point, it’s not justified.
